Privacy Policy

PDFaroo is designed to process documents locally. PARA RAPIDO CORP does not receive your PDFs, extracted text, reading history, bookmarks, speech position, selected voice, or reading speed.

This policy describes PDFaroo for iPhone (the “App”), provided by PARA RAPIDO CORP, New York, United States. It applies to information processed by the App and supplements the corporate website privacy policy.

The App does not require an account and contains:

• No advertising.
• No cross-app or cross-site tracking.
• No analytics or telemetry SDK.
• No social login or third-party data broker.
• No proprietary server for document processing.
• No third-party SDK that receives your documents or reading activity.

PARA RAPIDO CORP therefore cannot view, recover, export, correct, or remotely delete this local information for you.

You select a PDF through Apple's system document picker. The App copies that PDF into its private app container. PDF rendering, text extraction, page tracking, bookmarking, and speech generation for the core reader occur on the device using Apple frameworks.

The App does not upload documents or extracted text to PARA RAPIDO CORP.

The App stores the following in its local container or preferences:

• Imported PDF files and document titles.
• Current page and approximate speech position.
• Digital bookmarks and reading progress.
• Selected system voice and reading speed.
• The version and date of the legal agreement you accepted.

This information can be included in an Apple device backup or device transfer according to settings and services you control.

PDFaroo uses speech voices made available by iOS. Voice availability, downloads, pronunciation, and audio routing are controlled partly by Apple and the device. PARA RAPIDO CORP does not own or redistribute Apple's system voices.

The App may offer optional consumable purchases labeled “Support the Developer.” A tip unlocks no content, feature, priority support, or other benefit. It is commercial support for PARA RAPIDO CORP, not a charitable or tax-deductible donation.

If you choose to make such a purchase, Apple processes it through StoreKit. The App may receive a product identifier, transaction status, and cryptographically verified transaction information needed to finish the purchase. PARA RAPIDO CORP does not receive your payment-card number, Apple Account password, or full payment credentials. The App does not send transaction history or a user profile to a PARA RAPIDO CORP server. Apple's policies govern its payment processing and financial reporting.

Apple Files, iCloud Drive, device backup, App Store, StoreKit, and any file-provider extension you select are separate services. Their providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies. The App requests access only to a document you select through the system picker.

Deleting a PDF in the App removes its local app copy and related library entry; it does not delete the original from Files, iCloud Drive, or another provider. Deleting the App removes its local container from that device, subject to Apple's backup and device transfer behavior.

PARA RAPIDO CORP has no server copy of your documents or reading history to retain or delete.

The App is a general-purpose document reader and does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults. A parent or guardian should supervise use by anyone who cannot legally accept the App's terms where they live.

Local processing reduces transmission risk but no device or software can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your iPhone, Apple Account, backups, and source files. Avoid importing a document you are not legally permitted to possess or process.

We may update this policy when the App, law, or distribution practices change. The effective date will be updated. A material in-app legal revision will require a new affirmative acceptance when appropriate.
